Mary Cho


 

Mary Cho is the Pacific Northwest SALT practice leader and a SALT director in the Seattle, Wash., office. She has 20 years of experience in Washington state and local business and occupation tax and sales/use tax.

Mary’s experience spans state government, public accounting and ecommerce. She served for six years as a revenue auditor with the Washington State Department of Revenue, where she planned, coordinated and conducted complex field audits of businesses reporting under multiple tax classifications. She worked in indirect tax at Expedia and in the SALT practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she coordinated and managed complex multistate and local tax engagements. In the SALT practice at Deloitte & Touche, Mary consulted with clients in identifying risks and opportunities associated with multistate transactions.

She has been a frequent speaker on tax issues and had tax planning articles published in the Journal of State Taxation.

Mary earned a BS in Accounting and Business Administration at Central Washington University.
